Aaron started meditating in 1999 and attending IMC in 2006. Gil and the IMC community are his root Buddhist teachers, with additional longer practice periods influenced by Sayadaw U Pandita and Sayadaw U Tejaniya. More recently, he is mentored by Amana Bremby Johnson at Spirit Rock. Working as an academic hospitalist in Corvallis Oregon, Aaron is particularly interested in hospital medicine as a practice medium. He is equally interested in wise relationship as a practice medium with his husband Declan.
